Install From Update Site - Eclipse 3.4

The DVT update site is http://www.dvteclipse.com/update

Next steps must be followed in order to install/update using update manager from a remote site:

• Step 1: Start Eclipse and select from the menu Help > Software Updates
  
  
  
  



• Step 2: In the Software Updates and Add-ons window select Available Software and click Add Site....
  
  
  
  



• Step 3: If you have not updated previously, you will have to enter the location of the DVT update site: http://www.dvteclipse.com/update.
  
  
  
  



• Step 4: Select the update site you just created by checking the appropriate checkbox and click Install.
  
  
  
  



• Step 5: A dialog box appears showing the available updates, select Design&Verification Tools and desired help plugins and click Next.
  
  
  
  



• Step 6: You should now see the Software User Agreement, you must accept the agreement to install the DVT update. Do so by selecting I accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Finish.
  
  
  
  



• Step 7: Restart Eclipse to complete the update. Click Yes.
  
  
  
  



• Step 8: To check the installation, select from the menu Help > About Eclipse Platform . The DVT button for more details should appear.
