Install From Archive

Download DVT 3.0.9 and follow the next steps:

The previous stable release can be found here.

• Step 0: Unpack into a folder of your choice. The result of unpacking should be a new folder (e.g. dvt_update_site-2.9.9.2.zip_FILES) containing other folders and files like in the snapshot below.
  
  
  
  



• Step 1: Start Eclipse and select from the menu Help > Install New Software...
  
  
  
  



• Step 2: In the Install window click on Add.
  
  
  
  



• Step 3: Click the Local... button. Browse to the directory which resulted from unpacking at Step 0.
  
  
  
  



• Step 4:Press OK button.
  
  
  
  



• Step 5:The center list is populated with the available updates. Select the desired plugins and clickNext.
  
  
  
  



• Step 6: Review the selected plugins and click Next.
  
  
  
  



• Step 7: You should now see the Software User Agreement, you must accept the agreement to install DVT/DVT updates. Do so by selecting I accept the terms in the license agreement and then click Finish.
  
  
  
  



• Step 8: A progress bar reports the installation progress.
  
  
  
  



• Step 8.1: During the installation, a Security Warning may pop-up. There is no need to worry since you are performing the installation/update from the zip file downloaded from our site.You must click OK to continue.
  
  
  
  



• Step 9: Restart Eclipse to complete the update. Click Yes.
  
  
  
  



• Step 10: To check the installation, select from the menu Help > About Eclipse Platform . The DVT button for more details should appear.
